Guide
How the kit works
Start with Roaming with the Wind when available. It applies Aero Erosion, and a timely Basic Attack follows it with stage 3. Continue to stage 4 of Quadruple Time Steps to apply another stack and gain a segment of Musical Essence. Harmonic Allegro also applies a stack and can lead into Basic Attack stage 2.
Basic Attack stage 4 starts Solo Concert, which gives nearby teammates 24% Aero DMG Bonus. If stage 4 or Solo Concert ends early, an Ensemble Sylph finishes or continues it for Ciaccona. You can also generate a Sylph by interrupting an eligible attack or Solo Concert with Resonance Skill. Up to two can exist, but their Solo Concert bonuses do not stack.
Symphony of Wind and Verse holds up to three Musical Essence. Intro and each Basic Attack stage 4 give one segment. At three, use Heavy Attack - Quadruple Downbeat to spend them, pull nearby targets and apply Aero Erosion.
Singer's Triple Cadenza starts Recital. Press a color when the sound wave overlaps the circle: green applies Aero Erosion, yellow applies Spectro Frazzle. Switching out keeps Recital going and produces another Tonic of the last color used, or green if you made no input. Windcalling Tune amplifies Aero Erosion DMG dealt to targets near the active Resonator by 100% for 30 seconds.
Build and why
Use five pieces of Gusts of Welkin. Its listed two-piece effect gives 10% Aero DMG, which suits Ciaccona's attacks. If you are still assembling the set, two pieces of Moonlit Clouds give 10% Energy Regen, while two pieces of Sierra Gale give 10% Aero DMG.
Woodland Aria is the first weapon choice. Its Aero Erosion trigger gives Ciaccona Aero DMG Bonus, and hitting a target affected by Aero Erosion reduces that target's Aero RES. Phasic Homogenizer is the next option: it gives ATK and grants its wielder All-Attribute DMG Bonus after a teammate uses Tune Break.
Static Mist follows those two. Its Energy Regen helps with Liberation access, and its Outro effect gives the incoming Resonator ATK for 14 seconds. ATK and Energy Regen are useful stats to consider when building Ciaccona; Aero DMG also matches the damage in her kit.
Leveling priority
A suggested order is Resonance Liberation first for its damage during Recital, then Forte Circuit for the enhanced Heavy Attack. Follow with Basic Attack, Resonance Skill and Intro Skill. The order reflects which attacks you want to emphasize; the listed data does not give a separate leveling recommendation.
For ascension, gather Shell Credit, LF Tidal Residuum, MF Tidal Residuum, HF Tidal Residuum, FF Tidal Residuum, Blazing Bone and Golden Fleece. Skill upgrades also need Shell Credit and the four Tidal Residuum materials, plus When Irises Bloom, Impure Phlogiston, Extracted Phlogiston, Refined Phlogiston and Flawless Phlogiston.
Resonance Chain nodes worth it
Song of the Four Seasons (sequence 2) is a good support upgrade to aim for: during Liberation, the team gains 40% Aero DMG Bonus. Starlit Improv (sequence 3) is worth considering for a quicker Musical Essence cycle, since Basic Attack stage 4 grants an extra segment. It also adds a Resonance Skill charge.
Where Wind Sings (sequence 1) gives Ciaccona interruption immunity after Resonance Skill and ATK after Basic Attack. You can stop at sequence 2 if the team bonus is your main goal. Later nodes are optional: sequence 4 improves Ciaccona's damage through DEF ignore, while sequences 5 and 6 add further Liberation-related benefits.
Teams
An Aero teammate can use the Aero DMG Bonus from Solo Concert, while a team that deals Aero Erosion DMG can use the amplification from Ciaccona's Outro. Cartethyia, Rover: Aero and Qingxiao are teammate options of that element. Shorekeeper is another teammate option.
For a team that wants Spectro Frazzle, choose yellow during Recital. Zani and Rover: Spectro are Spectro teammate options. Consider a sustain role for the remaining slot if you need it: Ciaccona's own Shield lasts four seconds and disappears when she switches out.
Common mistakes
Don't leave three Musical Essence unused when you want the pull and Aero Erosion from the enhanced Heavy Attack. After Intro, use the Basic Attack follow-up to reach stage 4 sooner. You can also use Resonance Skill to move into stage 2.
Don't assume two Ensemble Sylphs double the Solo Concert bonus. Watch the Recital color before switching: the switch repeats the last color, with green as the default. For the Outro, keep in mind that its amplification applies to targets near the active Resonator, not to every target on the field.
