Guide
How the kit works
Bring Camellya in with Everblooming when available. It deals Havoc DMG and restores 100 Crimson Pistils. Use Valse of Bloom and Blight to attack with Crimson Blossom (Skill) and enter Blossom Mode. If Concerto Energy is already full and Ephemeral (Forte) is ready, it replaces the Resonance Skill instead.
In Blossom Mode, Camellya is suspended on vines and cannot move. Her Basic Attacks become Vining Waltz (Basic). Hold the attack button during its third hit to perform Blazing Waltz (Basic), followed automatically by the fourth hit. Outside this mode, Burgeoning also lets you hold the attack button after its third hit or after Pruning (Basic).
Hits with the attacks listed in Vegetative Universe consume Crimson Pistils. Every 10 spent restores 4 Concerto Energy and gives one Crimson Bud, up to 10. Buds last 15 seconds. At full Concerto Energy, cast Ephemeral to spend 70 Concerto Energy, restore 100 Pistils and enter Budding Mode.
Budding Mode gives the listed attacks a 50% higher DMG Multiplier. Each Bud consumed by Ephemeral adds another 5%, up to 50%. Camellya cannot gain Buds in this mode, and the listed attacks' Energy Regen Multiplier falls to 0%. The mode ends when she switches out or runs out of Pistils.
Build and why
Havoc Eclipse is the first set to consider. The game's build uses five pieces, while the supplied set description gives the two-piece effect: 10% Havoc DMG. Lingering Tunes is an alternative to consider for its two-piece 10% ATK. The five-piece effects are not provided here.
Emerald of Genesis is the next choice, with Energy Regen and an ATK increase after casting Resonance Skill. Blazing Brilliance comes third: it gives ATK, though its Resonance Skill DMG Bonus does not match the Basic Attack DMG classification of Crimson Blossom (Skill), Floral Ravage (Skill) and Ephemeral.
For a 4-star option, consider Somnoire Anchor before Lumingloss. Somnoire Anchor builds ATK stacks through damage and gives Crit. Rate at 10 stacks, but loses the stacks on switching out. Lumingloss gives Basic Attack DMG Bonus after a Resonance Skill.
For stats, ATK, Crit. Rate, Crit. DMG and Havoc DMG Bonus are good options to consider for her damage. Her kit and weapon effects favor Basic Attack DMG as well; do not assume every hit from a Resonance Skill counts as Resonance Skill DMG.
Leveling priority
A suggested order is Vegetative Universe, Burgeoning, Valse of Bloom and Blight, Fervor Efflorescent, then Everblooming. The Forte contains Ephemeral (Forte) and the Budding Mode damage increase. Basic Attack and Skill follow because Camellya uses their attacks throughout her field time.
Liberation is another damage hit, while Intro also restores Pistils through the Forte. Level them after the attacks you use more often. This order is a suggestion rather than a ranking supplied by the game or the listed guides.
For maximum ascension, gather 170,000 Shell Credit, 4 LF Whisperin Core, 12 MF Whisperin Core, 12 HF Whisperin Core, 4 FF Whisperin Core, 46 Topological Confinement and 60 Nova.
For all skills, you need 2,030,000 Shell Credit, 25 LF Whisperin Core, 28 MF Whisperin Core, 40 HF Whisperin Core, 57 FF Whisperin Core, 26 Dreamless Feather, 25 Inert Metallic Drip, 28 Reactive Metallic Drip, 55 Polarized Metallic Drip and 67 Heterized Metallic Drip.
Resonance Chain nodes worth it
As a suggested priority, Bloom For You Thousand Times Over (Sequence 6) is the biggest upgrade to look at. It increases the Sweet Dream multiplier by 150% and adds Perennial (Forte), which can restore 50 Crimson Pistils and deal Basic Attack DMG. Reaching it requires the earlier nodes.
Calling Upon the Silent Rose (Sequence 2) is another option: it raises the DMG Multiplier of Ephemeral (Forte) by 120%. A Bud Adorned by Thorns (Sequence 3) increases the Liberation multiplier by 50% and gives Camellya 58% ATK in Budding Mode.
Somewhere No One Travelled (Sequence 1) gives 28% Crit. DMG for 18 seconds after Intro, with a 25-second trigger interval, and interruption immunity during Ephemeral. Roots Set Deep In Eternity (Sequence 4) gives the team 25% Basic Attack DMG Bonus after Intro. Infinity Held in Your Palm (Sequence 5) increases Intro and Outro multipliers. You can stop before the later nodes if their effects are not your priority, but you cannot skip them on the way to Sequence 6.
Teams
Sanhua, a Glacio Sword character, and Shorekeeper, a Spectro Rectifier character, are teammates named in the guide evidence. Roccia, who uses Havoc and Gauntlets, is another named option. The supplied data does not describe their skills, so check their in-game effects before choosing which support or sustain role each will cover.
In general, consider teammates that can support a Basic Attack DMG dealer or keep Camellya safe while she stays on the field. She brings Havoc damage and a damaging Outro to the team. Plan switches around Budding Mode rather than cutting it short by changing characters immediately.
Common mistakes
Do not switch Camellya out as soon as you cast Ephemeral (Forte). Budding Mode ends on switch, so use its increased attack multipliers while she is still on the field. Also watch the age of your Crimson Buds: each lasts 15 seconds, and Ephemeral consumes the Buds available when cast.
Do not ignore stamina in Blossom Mode. Remaining suspended consumes it continuously, and mid-air attacks consume it too. Jump performs an attack that ends the mode, rather than leaving you suspended. Floral Ravage (Skill) also ends the mode and does not restore stamina.
Avoid building only for Resonance Skill DMG because an attack uses the Skill button. Several of Camellya's Skill attacks are counted as Basic Attack DMG, so read the damage classification before choosing a bonus.
