Guide
How the kit works
Start with Intro Skill Pero, Help when available. It gives Roccia 100 Imagination, and a Basic Attack immediately afterward uses Stage 4. Resonance Skill Acrobatic Trick pulls nearby targets together, adds another 100 Imagination and launches her into Beyond Imagination.
A Prop Master Prepares lets Roccia hold up to 300 Imagination. While airborne in Beyond Imagination, press Basic Attack with at least 100 Imagination to spend 100 on Basic Attack Real Fantasy. It has up to three stages and deals Heavy Attack DMG. After landing from Stage 1 or 2, Roccia launches again if she has over 100 Imagination.
If you need more Imagination, deal damage with Basic Attacks or hold the attack button. The Heavy Attack from Pero, Easy launches Roccia into Beyond Imagination if it hits with at least 100 Imagination. Holding the button keeps charging even after her STA runs out.
Use Commedia Improvviso! for Havoc damage and a 30-second team ATK increase. Each 0.1% of Roccia's Crit. Rate over 50% adds 1 ATK, up to 200 points. When the Outro is available, switch to the damage dealer: Applause, Please! gives them 20% Havoc DMG Amplification and 25% Basic Attack DMG Amplification for 14 seconds or until they switch out.
Immersive Performance gives Roccia 20% ATK for 12 seconds after casting a Resonance Skill or Heavy Attack. Super Attractive Magic Box replaces the incoming character's Utility with Magic Box after the Outro. Use it to pull nearby targets together; it lasts 14 seconds or until that character switches out.
Build and why
Use five pieces of Midnight Veil, the set recommended by the game and named by the guides. Its listed two-piece effect gives 10% Havoc DMG, which suits Roccia's damage. The supplied data does not describe its five-piece effect.
Tragicomedy is the first weapon choice. It gives 12% ATK, while casting a Basic Attack or Intro Skill grants 48% Heavy Attack DMG Bonus for 3 seconds. That bonus suits Basic Attack Real Fantasy from A Prop Master Prepares, whose damage counts as Heavy Attack DMG.
Blazing Justice is the next option in the guide ranking. It gives 12% ATK, and casting a Basic Attack grants an effect that makes damage ignore 8% of the target's DEF for 6 seconds. Verity's Handle follows with 12% Attribute DMG Bonus and a Resonance Liberation DMG Bonus after using Liberation.
Abyss Surges gives Energy Regen and bonuses to Basic Attack and Resonance Skill damage. Marcato is worth considering for its 8 Concerto Energy when Roccia casts her Skill, with a 20-second interval. For stats, Crit. Rate is useful for the team ATK increase from Commedia Improvviso!: each 0.1% above 50% adds 1 ATK, up to 200 points. ATK also supports Roccia's damage.
Leveling priority
A suggested leveling order is A Prop Master Prepares, Commedia Improvviso!, Acrobatic Trick, Pero, Easy, then Pero, Help. A Prop Master Prepares covers Real Fantasy, a central part of Roccia's airborne damage. Commedia Improvviso! also deals damage, while its team ATK increase depends on Crit. Rate.
For maximum ascension, gather 170,000 Shell Credit, 4 LF Tidal Residuum, 12 MF Tidal Residuum, 12 HF Tidal Residuum, 4 FF Tidal Residuum, 46 Cleansing Conch and 60 Firecracker Jewelweed.
Maxing all skills takes another 2,030,000 Shell Credit, 25 LF Tidal Residuum, 28 MF Tidal Residuum, 40 HF Tidal Residuum, 57 FF Tidal Residuum, 26 The Netherworld's Stare, 25 Cadence Seed, 28 Cadence Bud, 55 Cadence Leaf and 67 Cadence Blossom.
Resonance Chain nodes worth it
For Roccia’s own damage, consider When the Golden Wings Fly (RC6) first among the upgrades. After Liberation, Real Fantasy ignores 60% of enemies’ DEF for 12 seconds. It also opens Basic Attack Reality Recreation, an extra airborne attack that deals damage equal to Real Fantasy Stage 3 and counts as Heavy Attack DMG.
For team damage, When the Luceanite Gleams (RC2) is a strong option. Each Real Fantasy grants the team 10% Havoc DMG Bonus for 30 seconds, stacking three times; reaching maximum stacks adds another 10%. When Shadows Engulf the Hull (RC1) gives 100 extra Imagination and 10 Concerto Energy on Skill, plus interruption immunity during Real Fantasy.
When the Heart Sees and Hands Feel (RC3) gives Crit. Rate and Crit. DMG after Intro, while When Wonders Gather in the Box (RC4) raises Real Fantasy’s DMG Multiplier after Skill. When Dreams Are Reborn on Stage (RC5) raises Liberation and Heavy Attack multipliers. Consider these if you want more personal damage; they are reasonable to skip if you mainly want Roccia’s base-kit support.
Teams
Camellya and Phrolova are Havoc teammates named by the guides. Switch from Roccia to a Havoc damage dealer to use the Havoc amplification. If that character also deals Basic Attack DMG, they can use both parts of the Outro.
Rover: Havoc is another listed option. Verina is named as a teammate too and is worth considering for the remaining slot. Roccia contributes enemy grouping, team ATK from her Liberation and Magic Box for the incoming character to use.
Common mistakes
Do not switch Roccia out in the middle of Beyond Imagination if you still want to use Real Fantasy. She leaves the state when switched out or when she is no longer airborne. Watch her Imagination too: each Real Fantasy costs 100, and the relaunch after Stage 1 or 2 needs over 100 remaining.
Do not assume the Outro lasts through another switch. Its amplification and Magic Box end when the incoming character leaves the field. Switch directly to the character you want to buff, then use Magic Box while it is available.
Do not build around Basic Attack DMG Bonus assuming it boosts Real Fantasy. Real Fantasy is classified as Heavy Attack DMG, even though you activate it with the Basic Attack button. Also, once the Liberation's team ATK bonus reaches its 200-point maximum, more Crit. Rate will not increase that bonus.
