Guide
How the kit works
Bring Chixia in with Grand Entrance to deal Fusion DMG and gain Thermobaric Bullets. Hits from POW POW also supply bullets. Whizzing Fight Spirit fires a flurry of shots, grants bullets and has two initial charges.
Once you have a supply, hold Whizzing Fight Spirit to start continuous fire. Chixia spends Thermobaric Bullets to deal Fusion DMG, counted as Resonance Skill DMG. Her capacity is normally 60 bullets; Scorching Magazine raises it by 10.
Heroic Bullets controls the finish. Press Basic Attack during continuous fire after firing 30 bullets to cast Boom Boom (Skill), which deals Resonance Skill DMG. If you press earlier, Chixia uses Basic Attack 4 instead. She also exits the state when she runs out, so enter with more than 30 bullets if you want room to trigger the finish.
A passive gives Chixia 1% ATK for 10 seconds for each bullet that hits during continuous fire, up to 30 stacks. Blazing Flames hits nearby enemies, while Leaping Flames deals Fusion DMG equal to 530% of Chixia's ATK to enemies in range when she switches out.
Build and why
Use five pieces of Molten Rift. Its listed two-piece effect gives 10% Fusion DMG, which suits Chixia's attacks throughout her kit. ATK also supports her damage, including the ATK-scaled Leaping Flames. Resonance Skill DMG Bonus suits both her continuous fire and Boom Boom (Skill).
The Last Dance is the top weapon choice. It gives 12% ATK, and casting an Intro Skill or Resonance Liberation grants 48% Resonance Skill DMG Bonus for 5 seconds. Start your skill damage while that short bonus is active.
Phasic Homogenizer comes next: it gives 12% ATK, then 20% All-Attribute DMG Bonus for 14 seconds after a team member uses Tune Break. Tune Break can be cast when the target's Off-Tune Level is full. Static Mist follows, with 12.8% Energy Regen and a 10% ATK increase for the incoming Resonator for 14 seconds after Chixia's Outro Skill.
For a 4-star option, consider Thunderbolt. Basic or Heavy Attack hits give 7% Resonance Skill DMG Bonus per stack, up to three stacks, for 10 seconds. The effect can trigger once per second. Hit with those attacks before spending your bullets to make use of the bonus.
Leveling priority
A suggested order is Heroic Bullets first, then Whizzing Fight Spirit. The first governs your bullet sequence and its finish; the second deals damage and helps supply the bullets. Follow with Blazing Flames for another damage source, then POW POW and Grand Entrance.
For maximum ascension, collect 170,000 Shell Credit, 4 LF Whisperin Core, 12 MF Whisperin Core, 12 HF Whisperin Core, 4 FF Whisperin Core, 46 Rage Tacet Core and 60 Belle Poppy.
For all skills at maximum level, the separate cost is 2,030,000 Shell Credit, 25 LF Whisperin Core, 28 MF Whisperin Core, 40 HF Whisperin Core, 57 FF Whisperin Core and 26 Monument Bell. You also need 25 Impure Phlogiston, 28 Extracted Phlogiston, 55 Refined Phlogiston and 67 Flawless Phlogiston.
Resonance Chain nodes worth it
For a suggested Resonance Chain priority, look at Hero’s Ultimate Move (RC4) first. Blazing Flames grants 60 Thermobaric Bullets and immediately resets the cooldown of Whizzing Fight Spirit. That gives Chixia a fresh supply for her next skill sequence.
No.1 Hero Play Fan (RC1) is another strong option: Boom Boom (Skill) always lands Critical Hits. Triumphant Explosions (RC5) is worth considering after that, since reaching maximum stacks of Numbingly Spicy! grants another 30% ATK.
Leaping Sparkles (RC2) refunds 5 Resonance Energy per target defeated during Blazing Flames, up to 20 per cast, so it depends on defeats. Eternal Flames (RC3) gives that Liberation 40% more damage against targets below 50% HP. Easter Egg Performance (RC6) is more useful to a team that uses Basic Attacks: Boom Boom gives every member 25% Basic Attack DMG Bonus for 15 seconds. These are less urgent than the suggested first three.
Teams
Give Chixia teammates who can cover the time she is not on the field. A healer or defensive support is worth considering, alongside another damage dealer or support. Chixia contributes Fusion damage and Leaping Flames when she leaves the field.
Changli and Shorekeeper are options to try with her: Changli is Fusion and Shorekeeper is Spectro. Changli with Verina is another suggested pairing. Brant and Lupa are other Fusion teammates worth considering.
With Easter Egg Performance (RC6), Boom Boom (Skill) also gives the whole team Basic Attack DMG Bonus. That makes teammates who use Basic Attacks an option if you want to use the team bonus.
Common mistakes
Do not press Basic Attack too early during continuous fire if you want Boom Boom (Skill). The finish requires 30 bullets fired. Starting with too few can also end the state before you activate it.
Do not treat every shot in that sequence as Basic Attack DMG. The continuous bullets and Boom Boom count as Resonance Skill DMG; the early Basic Attack 4 counts as Basic Attack DMG. That distinction matters when choosing damage bonuses.
Watch the timing on your weapon. The Last Dance gives its skill bonus for 5 seconds, while Thunderbolt needs Basic or Heavy Attack hits to build stacks. Static Mist's Outro ATK bonus goes to the incoming Resonator, not automatically to Chixia.
