Guide
How the kit works
Bring Verina in with Verdant Growth when available, then cast Botany Experiment. Each gives her one stack of Photosynthesis Energy. She can hold four stacks, and the fifth hit of Cultivation gives another stack when it lands.
Spend a stack with the Heavy Attack version of Starflower Blooms to heal nearby party members and recover Concerto Energy. Press Basic Attack after it to use the Mid-air Attack version, which can spend another stack for the same benefits. The Heavy Attack version counts as Heavy Attack DMG; the airborne version counts as Basic Attack DMG.
Use Arboreal Flourish to deal Spectro DMG, heal and apply Photosynthesis Mark. Attacks against the marked target trigger Verina’s Coordinated Attack and heal the active character dealing damage nearby, up to once per second. Starflower Blooms, Arboreal Flourish and Blossom also activate Gift of Nature, giving the team 20% ATK for 20 seconds.
Use Blossom to heal the incoming Resonator by 19% of Verina’s ATK per second for 6 seconds and amplify nearby Resonators’ damage by 15% for 30 seconds. Grace of Life can prevent fatal damage and grant a shield equal to 120% of Verina’s ATK for 10 seconds, once every 10 minutes.
Build and why
Use five pieces of Rejuvenating Glow. The listed two-piece effect gives 10% Healing Bonus, which suits Verina’s healing kit. The supplied set data does not describe a five-piece effect, so don’t assume an extra bonus from it.
Stellar Symphony is the first weapon choice in the guide evidence. It restores 8 Concerto Energy when Verina casts her Resonance Liberation, once every 20 seconds. Its party ATK effect requires a Resonance Skill that heals, so don’t assume Botany Experiment triggers that effect.
Variation is another strong option: casting the Resonance Skill restores 8 Concerto Energy, once every 20 seconds. Cosmic Ripples gives 12.8% Energy Regen and can increase Basic Attack DMG Bonus. ATK is worth considering because the Outro healing and the fatal-damage shield use Verina’s ATK.
Leveling priority
I would level Starflower Blooms first because you can use it repeatedly for team healing. Arboreal Flourish is a good second choice for its healing and Coordinated Attacks. After those, work on Botany Experiment, Cultivation, then Verdant Growth. This is a suggested order, not a game-provided one.
Maximum ascension needs 170,000 Shell Credit, 4 LF Howler Core, 12 MF Howler Core, 12 HF Howler Core, 4 FF Howler Core, 46 Elegy Tacet Core and 60 Belle Poppy.
For all skills, the listed totals are 2,030,000 Shell Credit, 25 LF Howler Core, 28 MF Howler Core, 40 HF Howler Core, 57 FF Howler Core, 26 Monument Bell, 25 Lento Helix, 28 Adagio Helix, 55 Andante Helix and 67 Presto Helix.
Resonance Chain nodes worth it
Sprouting Reflections (sequence 2) is a good early target: Botany Experiment gives one extra Photosynthesis Energy and 10 Concerto Energy. Blossoming Embrace (sequence 4) is worth considering for a Spectro teammate, since the listed healing attacks, Liberation and Outro give the team 15% Spectro DMG Bonus for 24 seconds.
Joyous Harvest (sequence 6) makes both Starflower Blooms attacks deal 20% more damage. Each also triggers a Coordinated Attack and heals nearby characters, using the damage and healing values of Photosynthesis Mark.
Moment of Emergence (sequence 1) adds periodic healing for the next character. The Choice to Flourish (sequence 3) increases Mark healing, while Miraculous Blooms (sequence 5) improves healing when a teammate is below 50% HP. If your team already has enough healing, those are lower priorities to aim for.
Teams
Pair Verina with teammates who can attack the target she marks and benefit from her teamwide ATK and damage amplification. Her base kit does not restrict those effects to one element, so she can support different damage dealers.
Jinhsi is a Spectro teammate named in the guide evidence and can benefit from the Spectro DMG Bonus at sequence 4. Zhezhi is a Glacio option to consider alongside her. Jiyan and Mortefi are other named options for a team with Aero and Fusion characters. Use Verina’s Outro before handing the field to the teammate you want to heal.
Common mistakes
Don’t spend too long on Verina without using Photosynthesis Energy. At four stacks she cannot hold more, and Starflower Blooms turns a stack into healing and Concerto Energy. Keep a second stack available if you want to use both the Heavy Attack and Mid-air Attack versions.
Don’t attack an unmarked target expecting Arboreal Flourish to trigger its Mark effect. Watch the durations of the ATK and Outro buffs, and don’t rely on Grace of Life as frequent protection: it has a 10-minute trigger interval.
