Guide
How the kit works
Before combat, use Visionary Predation to inflict Blind Fealty on nearby enemies. Attack an affected enemy to bring all affected enemies into the fight. Jade then deals Quantum damage to all enemies and gains 15 Pawned Asset stacks.
Use Acquisition Surety on the ally you want as Debt Collector. They gain 30 SPD for three turns, and each enemy they hit takes Quantum Additional DMG equal to 25% of Jade's ATK. After each attack, the ally loses 2% of their Max HP, down to a minimum of 1 HP. The duration decreases at the start of Jade's turns, and she cannot reuse the Skill while a Debt Collector is on the field.
If Jade is the Debt Collector, she gets neither the SPD boost nor the HP cost. Use Lash of Riches to hit one enemy and the targets next to it. Jade and the Debt Collector each generate one Charge per enemy hit; at eight, Fang of Flare Flaying spends those points on a Follow-Up ATK against all enemies. That attack does not generate Charge itself.
Each Talent Follow-Up ATK grants five Pawned Asset stacks. Each stack gives 2.4% CRIT DMG, up to 50 stacks. Jade also gains stacks when enemies enter combat and when the Debt Collector's turn starts; another passive adds ATK per stack. Vow of the Deep hits all enemies and increases the Talent Follow-Up ATK's damage multiplier by 80% for two uses.
Build and why
Use four pieces of Genius of Brilliant Stars for Quantum DMG and DEF ignore, with more DEF ignored against enemies with Quantum Weakness. Poet of Mourning Collapse is another option: it trades SPD for CRIT Rate when Jade's SPD before battle is below its thresholds. The Ashblazing Grand Duke directly increases Follow-Up ATK damage and grants ATK when that attack deals damage.
For the planar set, Duran, Dynasty of Running Wolves builds Follow-Up ATK damage as allies use Follow-Up ATKs and gives CRIT DMG at five stacks. Sigonia, the Unclaimed Desolation gives CRIT Rate and builds CRIT DMG as enemies are defeated.
Choose CRIT Rate on the body, ATK Percentage or SPD on the feet, Quantum DMG Boost on the sphere, and Energy Regeneration Rate or ATK Percentage on the rope. For substats, look for CRIT Rate first, followed by CRIT DMG, ATK Percentage and SPD. Check your SPD before battle if you use Poet of Mourning Collapse.
Yet Hope Is Priceless is the first Light Cone choice. It gives CRIT Rate, rewards CRIT DMG above 120% with Follow-Up ATK damage, and lets the Ultimate or Follow-Up ATK ignore DEF after battle starts or Jade uses her Basic ATK. Night on the Milky Way gives ATK for enemies on the field and a damage increase when an enemy suffers Weakness Break.
Before Dawn is another option. It gives CRIT DMG and increases Ultimate damage. Using the Ultimate grants Somnus Corpus, which is consumed to increase the next triggered Follow-Up ATK's damage.
Leveling priority
Follow the game's order: level Fang of Flare Flaying first for the Follow-Up ATK, then Acquisition Surety for the Debt Collector's Additional DMG. Next is Vow of the Deep, with Lash of Riches last.
For maximum ascension, you need 308,000 Credit, 65 Dream Flamer, and 15 each of Dream Collection Component, Dream Flow Valve and Dream Making Engine.
For all skills, the listed total is 3,000,000 Credit, 8 Tracks of Destiny, 18 Rough Sketch, 69 Dynamic Outlining, 139 Exquisite Colored Draft, 12 Lost Echo of the Shared Wish, 41 Dream Collection Component, 56 Dream Flow Valve and 58 Dream Making Engine.
Eidolons worth it
Altruism? Nevertheless Tradable is worth considering if you use Jade against fewer enemies. It increases her Talent Follow-Up ATK damage by 32%, and a Debt Collector hitting one or two targets gives extra Charge.
Morality? Herein Authenticated is another useful option: at 15 Pawned Asset stacks, Jade gains 18% CRIT Rate. Equity? Pending Sponsorship is a later option that gives Jade 20% Quantum RES PEN and the Debt Collector state while a Debt Collector is on the field.
Honesty? Soon Mortgaged and Hope? Hitherto Forfeited raise skill levels rather than adding a new effect. They are less interesting if you are choosing upgrades for a change in how Jade plays, though you cannot reach later Eidolons without them.
Teams
Pick a Debt Collector who can hit several enemies when the fight allows it. Each target hit gives Jade Charge, so an ally with attacks that reach groups helps her trigger Follow-Up ATKs. The ally also receives SPD and adds Jade's Quantum damage to their hits.
Herta is an Ice Erudition option with a Follow-Up tag. The Herta is another Ice Erudition teammate named for Jade; pairing two Erudition characters also meets the same-Path condition on Izumo Gensei and Takama Divine Realm.
Add a buffer such as Quantum Harmony character Tribbie or Ice Harmony character Ruan Mei. For sustain, Lingsha is a Fire Abundance option with a Follow-Up tag, while Lynx is a Quantum Abundance option. Sustain matters especially when an ally is spending HP as Debt Collector.
Common mistakes
Do not expect a single-target Debt Collector to build Charge as quickly as one hitting a group. At base, each attack gives one Charge per target hit, and Jade's own Talent Follow-Up ATK does not add any.
Do not forget the HP cost on an ally, or expect Jade to receive the SPD boost when she selects herself. Also check your planar set's conditions: Inert Salsotto needs at least 50% current CRIT Rate for its Ultimate and Follow-Up ATK damage bonus.
