Guide
How the kit works
Before a fight, use Of Fortune Comes Fate to give the team a Barrier for 20 seconds. Enemy attacks will not start combat while it is active. If you enter battle with it, Matrix of Prescience starts automatically and lasts 2 turns.
Use Known by Stars, Shown by Hearts to activate Matrix of Prescience for 3 turns. Teammates distribute 65% of the damage they receive to Fu Xuan, calculated before Shields mitigate it. Matrix also gives all allies Max HP equal to 6% of Fu Xuan’s Max HP and 12% CRIT Rate. It disappears if she is knocked down.
While Fu Xuan is active, Bleak Breeds Bliss reduces damage taken by allies by 18%. At 50% HP or less, its restore effect heals her for 90% of her missing HP. It starts with one trigger and can hold up to two, but it cannot trigger from a killing blow.
Use Woes of Many Morphed to One to deal Quantum damage to all enemies and gain one Talent restore trigger. Its trace also heals other allies for 5% of Fu Xuan’s Max HP plus 133. Use Novaburst on a single enemy between Skill uses. While Matrix is active, the team can resist Crowd Control from one enemy action; activating Matrix again resets that protection.
Build and why
For relics, try four pieces of Warrior Goddess of Sun and Thunder. Its two-piece bonus gives 6% SPD. When Fu Xuan heals another ally, the four-piece effect can give her another 6% SPD and the team 15% CRIT DMG for 2 turns. Her Ultimate heal can activate it.
For the planar set, Broken Keel gives 10% Effect RES and grants allies 10% CRIT DMG when Fu Xuan reaches 30% Effect RES. Fleet of the Ageless is another option: it gives 12% Max HP and, at 120 SPD, gives allies 8% ATK.
Four pieces of Longevous Disciple are another relic option. The two-piece HP bonus helps Fu Xuan absorb damage and strengthens the HP and healing effects based on her Max HP. Guard of Wuthering Snow is an alternative if you want its damage reduction.
Use HP Percentage on the body and sphere. Pick SPD or HP Percentage on the feet, and Energy Regeneration Rate or HP Percentage on the rope. For substats, look for HP Percentage first, then DEF Percentage, Effect RES and SPD. Check the SPD or Effect RES threshold of your planar set when choosing pieces.
She Already Shut Her Eyes is the first Light Cone choice: it gives Max HP and Energy Regeneration Rate, buffs ally damage when her HP drops, and restores lost HP at the start of each wave. Moment of Victory is next, with DEF and a higher chance of being attacked. Texture of Memories offers Effect RES and a Shield when its conditions are met.
Leveling priority
Follow the game’s order: Known by Stars, Shown by Hearts first, then Bleak Breeds Bliss, Novaburst, and Woes of Many Morphed to One. Skill improves the Matrix effects, while Talent is central to damage reduction and Fu Xuan’s own recovery.
For full ascension you need 308,000 Credit, 65 Nail of the Ape, and 15 each of Artifex’s Module, Artifex’s Cogwheel and Artifex’s Gyreheart.
For all skills, the listed total is 3,000,000 Credit, 8 Tracks of Destiny, 18 Endurance of Bronze, 69 Oath of Steel, 139 Safeguard of Amber, 12 Regret of Infinite Ochema, 41 Artifex’s Module, 56 Artifex’s Cogwheel and 58 Artifex’s Gyreheart.
Eidolons worth it
For an early upgrade, I would consider Dominus Pacis first. It adds 30% CRIT DMG to Knowledge, giving the team another offensive bonus while Matrix is active.
Optimus Felix is another option for protection. Once per battle, while Matrix is active, allies struck by a killing blow during the same action avoid being knocked down and immediately recover 70% of their Max HP.
Omnia Vita is the damage-focused option. After Matrix is activated, it counts HP lost by the team and adds 200% of that tally to Ultimate damage. The tally is capped at 120% of Fu Xuan’s Max HP and resets after her Ultimate.
You can leave Apex Nexus and Arbiter Primus aside if you prefer new effects over skill levels. Fortuna Stellaris gives Energy when other allies under Matrix are attacked, but you can skip it if that is not what your build needs. E6 is optional if you mainly want protection rather than Ultimate damage.
Teams
Fu Xuan fits next to a damage dealer who appreciates CRIT Rate. Add a buffer or debuffer around that character while Fu Xuan handles damage reduction and recovery. Her bonuses are not restricted to Quantum allies.
A Quantum example is Fu Xuan with Seele, Sparkle and Silver Wolf. Seele takes the damage-dealer spot, Sparkle provides buffs, and Silver Wolf brings debuffs. Qingque or Rin Tohsaka are other Quantum characters named in the guide evidence.
For a different element, consider Acheron as a Lightning option alongside Fu Xuan. Bronya and Tingyun are other listed buffers to consider when putting a team together.
Common mistakes
Do not let Matrix of Prescience expire without a plan. The Technique version lasts 2 turns, not the 3 turns from Skill. Refreshing it also resets the one-action Crowd Control resistance.
Do not assume the Talent restore can save Fu Xuan from a killing blow. Keep an eye on her HP and available restore triggers, especially when she is taking damage distributed from the team.
Do not build only for HP and ignore set thresholds. Broken Keel needs 30% Effect RES for its team bonus, while Fleet of the Ageless needs 120 SPD. Also remember that Fu Xuan’s Ultimate heals other allies, not herself through that healing effect.
