How the kit works
Before a fight, We Are So Back! gives the next battle's team either 20% Elation for 3 turns, or 30% with a lower chance. In combat, Let the Storm Rage On hits all enemies for Lightning DMG equal to 60% of Trailblazer's ATK and grants 20 Certified Banger.
That Smile Hits Different restores 10 Energy and grants 3 Punchline after an attack. While Trailblazer holds Certified Banger, Skill also deals 30% Lightning Elation DMG to all enemies, calculated using the highest Certified Banger value among allies. After an ally uses an Elation Skill, Aha, Sic 'Em! adds 2 Certified Banger to Trailblazer's next Skill.
Use May the Trailblaze Fly You Starward on the ally you want to support. It gives Trailblazer 5 Punchline, removes Crowd Control from the target and grants them 50% CRIT DMG for 3 turns. An ally with an Elation Skill also gains 10 Certified Banger and immediately uses that skill, taking a fixed 20 Punchline into account. Otherwise, their action advances by 50%.
The special attack I Said "Elation," Did I Stutter? deals eight instances of 20% Lightning Elation DMG to random enemies, followed by 60% Lightning Elation DMG split among all enemies. Make Some Noise instead hits one enemy for Lightning DMG equal to 100% of Trailblazer's ATK.
Build and why
For a support build, start with four pieces of Dreamlit Actor. Its Ultimate buff gives the targeted ally 16% Elation for 3 turns. If Trailblazer has at least 10 Certified Banger, it also gives all allies 12% CRIT DMG for 3 turns. Diviner of Distant Reach is another option: it gives SPD, CRIT Rate at the listed SPD thresholds and 10% Elation to all allies after the wearer's first Elation Skill in battle.
For planar ornaments, Sprightly Vonwacq gives 5% Energy Regeneration Rate and advances the wearer by 40% on entering battle if they have at least 120 SPD. Lushaka, the Sunken Seas also gives 5% Energy Regeneration Rate; place Trailblazer outside the first lineup slot to give the first character 12% ATK.
When She Decided to See is the first weapon choice. It gives SPD and, through Great Fortune, team CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG as well as Energy Regeneration Rate for the wearer. Elation Brimming With Blessings gives ATK and can grant the Ultimate target 12% Elation for 2 turns. Mushy Shroomy's Adventures gives the wearer Elation and makes enemies take 6% more Elation DMG after the wearer uses an Elation Skill.
Use CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG on the body, SPD or ATK Percentage on the feet, ATK Percentage on the sphere and Energy Regeneration Rate or ATK Percentage on the rope. For substats, follow CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG, SPD, then ATK Percentage. On Cloud Nine converts each 200 ATK above 1,000 into 10% Elation, up to 60%.
Leveling priority
Follow the game's order: May the Trailblaze Fly You Starward, Let the Storm Rage On, That Smile Hits Different, I Said "Elation," Did I Stutter?, then Make Some Noise. Ultimate is the direct ally buff, while Skill and Talent contribute to Trailblazer's damage and resource gains.
Maximum ascension takes 246,400 Credit, 28 Enigmatic Ectostella, 12 Thief's Instinct, 13 Usurper's Scheme and 12 Conqueror's Will.
For all skills, prepare 2,400,000 Credit, 5 Tracks of Destiny, 12 The Fluffy Hand-drawn Storyboards, 54 The Fluffy Serialization Memorial Issue, 105 The Fluffy Collector's Edition, 12 Vanquished Flow's Reticence, 28 Thief's Instinct, 42 Usurper's Scheme and 42 Conqueror's Will.
Eidolons worth it
For a support-oriented progression, consider History in the Making... first: Ultimate gives its target 12% Elation for 2 turns. Save the World. Just Because. is another team-facing upgrade, making enemies take 10% more DMG for 2 turns when Trailblazer uses their Elation Skill.
The Cosmic Legend Cometh! is worth considering for Trailblazer's own damage: their Elation Skill grants them 100% CRIT DMG for 3 turns. Believe In the Light can help an ally gain more Certified Banger through Ultimate after Skill uses. E3 and E5 raise skill levels instead. You can stop at E2 if its ally buff is what you want; later Eidolons require the earlier ones.
Teams
An Elation teammate is a natural Ultimate target: an ally with an Elation Skill gets both Certified Banger and an immediate use of that skill. Trailblazer also gives the target CRIT DMG, removes Crowd Control and gains extra Certified Banger after an ally uses an Elation Skill.
Outside an Elation-focused team, Ultimate still grants CRIT DMG and advances an ally without an Elation Skill by 50%. You give up the immediate Elation Skill use on that target.
Common mistakes
Do not target every Ultimate the same way. Check whether you want the immediate Elation Skill from an eligible ally, the 50% action advance on someone without one, or the Crowd Control removal.
Do not ignore SPD requirements on your gear. Sprightly Vonwacq needs 120 SPD for its opening action advance, while Diviner of Distant Reach checks SPD before combat for its CRIT Rate bonus. Also check your lineup position if you use Lushaka, the Sunken Seas.
Do not treat ATK as the only useful stat. It supports Trailblazer's damage and On Cloud Nine, but Energy Regeneration Rate helps with Ultimate access, while CRIT stats and SPD are part of the recommended build.
