How the kit works
Start a fight with Petalfall: Floral Reminiscence when you can. It deals Physical DMG to all enemies after combat starts and gives Evanescia 20 Certified Banger. Use Discipline: Final Verdict against a target with enemies beside it: it deals 300% of ATK to the main target, 150% to adjacent targets and grants 10 Punchline.
Youth: Halcyon Evermore links Energy and Certified Banger. Gaining either also grants an equal amount of the other; up to 100 Certified Banger points are counted per instance through this method. After 240 Energy has accumulated, Master Fox attacks all enemies and restores 10 Energy. Each Energy regeneration instance contributes at most 240 to that accumulation.
While Evanescia holds Certified Banger, her Skill, Ultimate and Master Fox's attack also deal Physical Elation DMG. Swordsong: Absolution Denied hits all enemies, then sends five damage instances to random targets. Watch All Revels adds one bounce with at least three enemies, two with two enemies or four with one enemy.
Scarlet: Elation or Execution deals Physical Elation DMG to all enemies and grants 5 Certified Banger. Master Fox also applies Vulnerability through Weigh All Truths, increasing the target's damage taken by 12% for three turns.
Build and why
Use four pieces of Ever-Glorious Magical Girl. Its two-piece bonus gives 16% CRIT DMG, which also contributes to Evanescia's Elation through her Talent. The four-piece bonus makes Elation DMG ignore 10% DEF, with up to another 10% as allies accumulate Punchline. Her Skill contributes to that count.
Pair it with two pieces of Punklorde Stage Zero for 8% Elation. On first reaching 40% or 80% Elation in combat, it grants 20% or 32% CRIT DMG respectively. Scholar Lost in Erudition is a relic alternative: it raises CRIT Rate and boosts Skill and Ultimate damage. For a planar alternative, consider Izumo Gensei and Takama Divine Realm; its CRIT Rate bonus needs a teammate on the same Path.
Until the Flowers Bloom Again is the first Light Cone choice. It gives 60% CRIT DMG and Energy Regeneration Rate, and using Elation Skill increases all enemies' damage received by 15% for two turns. Tomorrow, Together gives CRIT DMG and grants allies 8% Elation for one turn after her Ultimate. Mushy Shroomy's Adventures gives Elation and increases enemies' Elation DMG taken after Elation Skill.
For main stats, choose CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG on the body, SPD or ATK Percentage on the feet, ATK Percentage or Physical DMG Boost on the sphere, and Energy Regeneration Rate or ATK Percentage on the rope. Prioritize substats in that order: CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG, SPD, then ATK Percentage. Remember that her passive already gives her 30% CRIT Rate.
Leveling priority
Follow the game's order: Swordsong: Absolution Denied, Youth: Halcyon Evermore, Scarlet: Elation or Execution, Syllabus: Pop Quiz, then Discipline: Final Verdict. The Ultimate hits every enemy before its random hits, while the Talent governs Master Fox and the extra Elation DMG. The Elation Skill also attacks all enemies.
For maximum ascension, collect 308,000 Credit, 65 Invasive Clot, 15 Whimsy Wax, 15 Dreamweave Steel and 15 Lucid Awl.
For all skills, collect 3,000,000 Credit, 8 Tracks of Destiny, 18 The Fluffy Hand-drawn Storyboards, 69 The Fluffy Serialization Memorial Issue, 139 The Fluffy Collector's Edition, 12 Vanquished Flow's Reticence, 41 Whimsy Wax, 56 Dreamweave Steel and 58 Lucid Awl. These skill costs are separate from ascension.
Eidolons worth it
Home: A Prayer in Dance is a good first Eidolon to consider. It gives 20% All-Type RES PEN and triggers an Elation Skill after Master Fox attacks. Elation Skill also grants Evanescia 10 extra Certified Banger.
Voyage: A Wish for Everbloom is another useful stopping point. It gives 36% CRIT DMG and increases the Certified Banger gained through Watch All Revels and Best All Blooms. Those passives copy Certified Banger from teammates under different conditions.
For a later upgrade, Maiden: A Step into Dreams extends Evanescia's Certified Banger by one turn and strengthens her Elation DMG. It also restores 120 Energy after the first Ultimate in combat, with another trigger for every four more Ultimate uses. Meadow: A Ruin by Vice makes her damage ignore 15% DEF.
If you stop at E2, you can leave E3 through E6. E3 and E5 raise skill levels, but you cannot skip them on the way to a later Eidolon.
Teams
Watch All Revels converts 50% of Certified Banger gained by a teammate whose Elation Skill Participant ID is lower than Evanescia's. Best All Blooms converts 50% of a teammate's Certified Banger when it ends. Check those conditions rather than assuming every teammate's gain triggers both effects.
There is no required element beside Evanescia. Against groups, Master Fox's Vulnerability helps the rest of the team deal more damage as well.
Common mistakes
Do not ignore CRIT DMG just because Evanescia already has 30% CRIT Rate from her passive. CRIT DMG also gives her Elation, so both stats matter when choosing gear.
Do not expect the same Ultimate bounce count in every fight. Fewer enemies mean more extra bounces from Watch All Revels. Against a group, aim Skill at an enemy with adjacent targets when possible.
Do not treat Energy accumulation for Master Fox as the same thing as spending Energy on an Ultimate. The Talent describes a separate 240 Energy accumulation threshold. Keep the teammate conditions for Certified Banger conversion in mind when building the team.
