Guide
How the kit works
Before combat, use Earthrend and switch to the ally you want as Bondmate. It inflicts Daze on nearby enemies for 10 seconds, and the next battle starts with a free Skill on the marked ally. If you need to change the target in battle, use Terra Omnibus: only the most recent target remains Bondmate.
The Skill shields everyone for 3 turns, with a value of 20% of Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae's ATK plus 400. Of Virtue, Forms Unfold summons Souldragon for the Bondmate. On its actions, Souldragon removes 1 debuff from every ally and gives everyone a 3-turn shield worth 10% of Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae's ATK plus 200. These shields stack up to 300% of the current Skill shield.
Use A Dragon's Zenith Knows No Rue for Physical DMG to all enemies and another team shield. It enhances Souldragon for 2 actions: each launches a Follow-Up ATK with Physical DMG based on Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae's ATK and Additional DMG based on the Bondmate's ATK. The Bondmate's attacks also restore 6 Energy to Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae and advance Souldragon by 15%. Use Aegis Vitae when you don't need to change Bondmate or refresh the Skill shield.
Build and why
Use four pieces of Self-Enshrouded Recluse: both bonuses strengthen the shields he provides, and allies holding his shields gain 15% CRIT DMG. Pair it with Lushaka, the Sunken Seas for 5% Energy Regeneration Rate. Put the ally who wants its 12% ATK bonus first in the lineup and place Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae elsewhere.
City of Converging Stars is another planar option: it grants ATK when the wearer uses a Follow-Up ATK and team CRIT DMG when an enemy is defeated. Sacerdos' Relived Ordeal is an alternative relic set with SPD and a CRIT DMG effect for the target of a single-target Skill or Ultimate. Penacony, Land of the Dreams is worth considering with another Physical ally.
For main stats, use ATK Percentage on body and sphere, SPD or ATK Percentage on feet, and Energy Regeneration Rate or ATK Percentage on rope. Look for ATK Percentage and SPD in substats. ATK strengthens the shields and the ATK given to Bondmate; Energy Regeneration Rate helps with the Ultimate.
Though Worlds Apart is the first Light Cone choice: it gives 64% ATK, heals allies on Ultimate and grants them a DMG increase. Inherently Unjust Destiny is another recommended option; its Follow-Up ATK effect has a 100% base chance to increase damage taken by the hit enemy. Journey, Forever Peaceful is a 4-star option that strengthens provided shields and increases shielded allies' DMG.
Leveling priority
Level Terra Omnibus first for the team shield, then A Dragon's Zenith Knows No Rue for its damage and shield. Follow with Of Virtue, Forms Unfold, which supplies Souldragon's shields. Leave Aegis Vitae until last.
For maximum ascension, prepare 308,000 Credit, 65 Invasive Clot, and 15 each of Fear-Stomped Flesh, Courage-Torn Chest and Glory-Aspersed Torso. For all skills, prepare 3,000,000 Credit, 8 Tracks of Destiny, 18 Scattered Stardust, 69 Crystal Meteorites, 139 Divine Amber, 12 Daythunder Anamnesis, 41 Fear-Stomped Flesh, 56 Courage-Torn Chest and 58 Glory-Aspersed Torso.
Eidolons worth it
Shed Scales of Old is the standout upgrade in the evidence. Each Ultimate recovers 1 Skill Point and gives the Bondmate 18% All-Type RES PEN for 3 turns.
Watch Trails to Blaze is another upgrade worth considering. It adds 2 enhanced Souldragon actions, advances Souldragon by 100% after the Ultimate, and doubles the Bondmate's Additional DMG and the shield provided during those enhanced actions.
One Dream to Enfold All Wilds is a later option: it increases enemy DMG taken while the Bondmate is on the field, lets the Bondmate ignore some DEF, and adds Bondmate-type damage when Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae uses his Ultimate. You can stop at E1 and skip later copies. E3 and E5 raise skill levels rather than adding a separate team effect.
Teams
Choose a Bondmate whose ATK and combat type you want to use for Souldragon's Additional DMG. Allies who attack can also restore Energy and advance Souldragon, so consider how often your chosen partner attacks. The rest of the team can bring damage or buffs while Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae supplies shields and debuff removal.
Common mistakes
Don't leave the wrong character active after using Earthrend. The mark transfers when you switch, so check it before starting combat. In battle, using Terra Omnibus on someone else replaces the previous Bondmate.
Don't assume shields stack without a limit. Their cap is 300% of the current Skill shield, and Souldragon disappears if Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae or the Bondmate is knocked down. Keep the pair protected rather than counting on the summon after either falls.
Don't build only for damage stats and forget ATK Percentage or Energy Regeneration Rate. Also check lineup order with Lushaka, the Sunken Seas: its ATK bonus goes to the first character only when its wearer is not first.
