Guide
How the kit works
Start by learning the rhythm of Basic Attack: Warmup Sparks, which performs up to four Physical slashes. Pressing at the right moment instead triggers Basic Attack: Fire Suppression, a set of stronger Fire slashes. Core Passive: Heatwave increases the damage of a Basic Attack or Dash Attack that triggers Fire Suppression by 70%.
When you have enough Energy, use EX Special Attack: Fervent Fire (Special). It deals Fire DMG, makes Soldier 11 invulnerable during the skill, and lets her Basic Attacks and Dash Attacks trigger Fire Suppression for up to 30 seconds or eight triggers. Without enough Energy, Special Attack: Raging Fire deals Fire DMG and increases Anti-Interrupt during the skill.
After a Chain Attack is triggered, choose Soldier 11 for Chain Attack: Uplifting Flame. At Maximum Decibel Rating, Ultimate: Bellowing Flame is another option. Both deal Fire DMG in a small area, grant invulnerability during the attack and provide the same 30-second, eight-trigger Fire Suppression effect.
Use Dodge: Tempered Fire to avoid an attack. Dash Attack: Blazing Fire deals Physical DMG, while Dash Attack: Fire Suppression deals Fire DMG. Press during a Perfect Dodge for Dodge Counter: Backdraft. Quick Assist: Covering Fire brings Soldier 11 in when the active character is launched; Defensive Assist: Hold the Line parries an incoming attack, and Assist Follow-Up: Reignition attacks afterward.
Build and why
For a four-piece set, start with Dawn's Bloom. Its two-piece effect raises Basic Attack DMG by 15%, and the four-piece adds 20%. As an Attack character, Soldier 11 gains another 20% Basic Attack DMG for 25 seconds after using an EX Special Attack or Ultimate.
Puffer Electro is another option: its two-piece effect gives 8% PEN Ratio, while four pieces increase Ultimate DMG by 20% and grant 15% ATK for 12 seconds after an Ultimate. For a two-piece complement, Woodpecker Electro gives 8% CRIT Rate.
The game's build uses four pieces of Inferno Metal with two of Woodpecker Electro. Inferno Metal gives 10% Fire DMG, and its four-piece effect grants 28% CRIT Rate for eight seconds after hitting a Burning enemy. Choose it if your team can take advantage of that condition.
On disc 4, choose CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG. Use Fire DMG Bonus or Percent ATK on disc 5 and Percent ATK on disc 6. For substats, look for CRIT Rate first, then CRIT DMG and Percent ATK.
Heartstring Nocturne ranks first among the weapon options: it gives 50% CRIT DMG, and its stacks let Chain Attack and Ultimate ignore Fire RES. Cordis Germina gives CRIT Rate and, at two stacks, lets Basic Attack and Ultimate ignore 20% DEF; its Electric DMG bonus does not fit Soldier 11's Fire kit. The Brimstone is another strong option, building ATK stacks through Basic Attacks, Dash Attacks and Dodge Counters.
Leveling priority
Follow the game's order: Core Passive: Heatwave first, then Basic Attack: Warmup Sparks. Heatwave strengthens attacks that trigger Fire Suppression, while the Basic Attack is part of her on-field rotation.
Next level Special Attack: Raging Fire, followed by Chain Attack: Uplifting Flame. Then raise Quick Assist: Covering Fire, with Dodge: Tempered Fire last in the order. Her Special and Chain skills give her ways to deal Fire DMG during a rotation.
For maximum ascension you need 800,000 Denny, 4 Basic Attack Certification Seal, 32 Advanced Attack Certification Seal and 30 Pioneer's Certification Seal.
To raise all skills to the maximum, you need 2,905,000 Denny, 25 Basic Burn Chip, 75 Advanced Burn Chip, 250 Specialized Burn Chip, 5 Hamster Cage Pass, 9 Finale Dance Shoes and 60 Higher Dimensional Data: Destructive Advance.
Mindscapes worth it
Scorching Flow is worth considering for damage. An EX Special Attack, Chain Attack or Ultimate grants eight Charge stacks; each Fire Suppression trigger consumes one stack and makes that move ignore 25% of the target's Fire RES.
Scorching Convergence is another useful damage upgrade. Triggering Fire Suppression adds a 3% damage increase to Basic Attack, Dash Attack and Dodge Counter, up to 12 stacks. Each stack lasts 15 seconds and has its own duration.
Rapid Heat helps with Energy when Soldier 11 becomes active in combat: if she has less than 40 Energy, it recovers to 80. It can trigger once every 50 seconds. Indulgent Blaze is a defensive option, giving damage reduction and Anti-Interrupt on earlier hits or a Dash Attack, and invulnerability on the fourth Basic Attack hit when those moves trigger Fire Suppression.
Elite Soldier and Perfect Soldier add skill levels rather than a new mechanic. If you are stopping progression early, you can leave those later upgrades for another time; they are still steps on the way to M6.
Teams
Bring another Fire character or a member of Soldier 11's Faction to activate Additional Ability: Fields of Fire. It gives her 10% more Fire DMG, with an additional 22.5% against Stunned enemies.
Common mistakes
Do not mash Basic Attack without checking the timing. Practice triggering Fire Suppression, and remember that the automatic effect from EX Special Attack, Chain Attack or Ultimate ends after 30 seconds or eight triggers.
Do not assume Inferno Metal's four-piece CRIT Rate is always active: you must hit a Burning enemy. Likewise, a teammate with neither the same Attribute nor Faction will not activate Fields of Fire.
Do not ignore Stun openings. Fields of Fire gives extra damage against Stunned enemies when its team condition is met, so plan to attack during those windows. Use dodges and assists when needed instead of treating increased Anti-Interrupt as invulnerability.
