How the kit works
Before a fight, use Misha's Technique to create a dimension lasting 15 seconds. Enemies inside stop acting, and entering battle against an affected enemy gives his next Ultimate two extra hits. Only one allied Dimension Effect can exist at a time, so another one can replace it.
In battle, use Skill to damage a target and adjacent enemies and add one hit to the next Ultimate. Horological Escapement adds one hit and restores 2 Energy for every Skill Point allies consume. Use Basic ATK when you need to conserve Skill Points.
The Ultimate starts with three hits and can hold up to ten. The first hits your chosen target; the rest strike random enemies. At the listed skill level, each hit deals Ice DMG equal to 60% of Misha's ATK and has a 20% base chance to Freeze for one turn. Frozen enemies cannot act and take Ice Additional DMG at the start of their turn. The hit count resets after the Ultimate.
His passive traces improve the first hit's base Freeze chance and give him Effect Hit Rate during the Ultimate. Another raises his CRIT DMG by 30% when he damages Frozen enemies. These bonuses help, but Freeze is still a chance rather than a guarantee.
Build and why
For relics, start with four pieces of Hunter of Glacial Forest. Its two-piece bonus gives 10% Ice DMG, and its four-piece bonus grants 25% CRIT DMG for two turns after the Ultimate. Scholar Lost in Erudition is another strong option: it gives CRIT Rate, boosts Skill and Ultimate damage, and strengthens the next Skill after an Ultimate. Equip one four-piece set, not both.
For the planar set, Inert Salsotto gives 8% CRIT Rate and raises Ultimate damage by 15% once Misha reaches 50% CRIT Rate. Space Sealing Station is an alternative for ATK; it gives more ATK at 120 SPD. Firmament Frontline: Glamoth also gives ATK and adds damage at 135 or 160 SPD.
Use CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG on the body, SPD or ATK Percentage on the feet, Ice DMG Boost on the sphere, and ATK Percentage on the rope. For substats, follow CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG, ATK Percentage, then SPD. Keep the Inert Salsotto threshold in mind when choosing the body.
Thus Burns the Dawn is the first weapon to consider: it raises base SPD by 12 and ignores 18% of the target's DEF when dealing damage. After the Ultimate, it also grants a damage boost until the start of the turn. On the Fall of an Aeon builds ATK as Misha attacks and gives a temporary damage boost after he breaks a Weakness. A Trail of Bygone Blood gives CRIT Rate and boosts both Skill and Ultimate damage.
Leveling priority
Follow the game's order: Ultimate first, then Skill, Talent, and Basic ATK. The Ultimate is the main source of damage and Freeze attempts. Skill is next because it damages the main target and adjacent enemies; Talent and Basic ATK come after it.
For maximum ascension, gather 246,400 Credit, 50 Dream Fridge, 12 Dream Collection Component, 13 Dream Flow Valve and 12 Dream Making Engine.
To raise all skills to the maximum, gather another 2,400,000 Credit, 5 Tracks of Destiny, 12 Borisin Teeth, 54 Lupitoxin Sawteeth, 105 Moon Rage Fang, 12 Past Evils of the Borehole Planet Disaster, 28 Dream Collection Component, 42 Dream Flow Valve and 42 Dream Making Engine.
Eidolons worth it
Of the Eidolons, I'd consider Yearning of Youth first. Before each Ultimate hit, it has a 24% base chance to reduce the target's DEF by 16% for three turns. That gives Misha a way to weaken enemies for the team.
Whimsicality of Fancy is another useful step: it adds one Ultimate hit per enemy on the field, up to five extra hits. The Ultimate's ten-hit limit still matters. Estrangement of Dream is worth considering later for its 30% damage boost when using the Ultimate and the Skill Point recovered on the next Skill.
Vestige of Happiness and Genesis of First Love raise skill levels rather than adding effects. If you are choosing where to stop, they are less distinctive stopping points than the effects at E2 or E6.
Teams
Give Misha a teammate who can keep the team alive and a support who improves damage or weakens enemies. Allies spending Skill Points help build his next Ultimate, so watch the shared pool rather than treating every point as Misha's alone.
Ruan Mei is an Ice buffer to consider, while Pela is an Ice debuffer. Lynx offers Quantum sustain, and Huohuo offers Wind sustain. For example, Misha, Ruan Mei, Pela and Lynx cover damage, support and survival; you can change the sustain slot to suit the fight.
Misha gives the team Ice damage and chances to Freeze. His Ultimate's random hits make the enemy count relevant: against several enemies, hits after the first can spread among them instead of staying on your chosen target.
Common mistakes
Don't let the next Ultimate sit at ten hits while the team keeps spending Skill Points if you can use it. The cap limits how many hits it can hold, and the count resets after use. On the other hand, don't assume every hit will land on your chosen enemy when other targets are present.
Don't count on Freeze landing every time. Misha has bonuses to the chance, but the effect is not guaranteed. His CRIT DMG bonus against Frozen enemies also depends on the target actually being Frozen.
Don't equip Inert Salsotto and ignore its 50% CRIT Rate condition. Check the speed thresholds before choosing Space Sealing Station or Firmament Frontline: Glamoth. Finally, avoid replacing Misha's pre-battle dimension with another allied Dimension Effect before entering the fight.
