Guide
How the kit works
Start by preparing a Dendro reaction with the rest of the team, then use Floral Brush. The ring deals Dendro damage on contact and again when it returns. You can switch characters while it travels.
With Floral Sidewinder unlocked, a party member triggering a listed Dendro reaction before the ring returns grants Sprout on its return. Sprout deals Dendro damage to nearby opponents for 3 seconds, based on 40% of Collei’s ATK. Its damage counts as Elemental Skill damage. A new Sprout during the initial duration replaces the old one.
Use Trump-Card Kitty when available to throw Cuilein-Anbar. The initial explosion deals AoE Dendro damage, then the doll bounces in its zone and deals more AoE Dendro damage. The Languid Wood extends the zone by 1 second when a character inside triggers a listed reaction, up to 3 extra seconds per Burst.
Supplicant’s Bowmanship (NA) fires up to four Normal Attacks. A fully charged Aimed Shot deals Dendro damage, but you can leave most field time to teammates after using Collei’s Skill and Burst. Gliding Champion of Sumeru also reduces the party’s gliding Stamina consumption by 20%.
Build and why
The first set to consider is four-piece Deepwood Memories. Its two-piece bonus gives 15% Dendro DMG Bonus, while a Skill or Burst hit reduces the target’s Dendro RES by 30% for 8 seconds. Collei can trigger the four-piece effect even while off-field, so her attacks can support the team’s Dendro damage.
Four-piece Noblesse Oblige is an alternative when the team wants ATK: using the Burst gives the whole party 20% ATK for 12 seconds, and the effect cannot stack. Four-piece Instructor instead gives the party 120 Elemental Mastery for 8 seconds after Collei triggers a reaction.
On the sands, choose Energy Recharge, ATK Percentage or Elemental Mastery. For the goblet, use Dendro DMG Bonus, Elemental Mastery or ATK Percentage. The circlet can have CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG or Elemental Mastery. Among substats, look for Energy Recharge first, followed by CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG, ATK Percentage and Elemental Mastery.
Elegy for the End is the first weapon pick. It gives 60 Elemental Mastery, and Skill or Burst hits generate Sigils of Remembrance even while Collei is off-field. Favonius Warbow is next: CRIT Hits have a 60% chance to generate particles that regenerate 6 Energy for the character, once every 12 seconds. CRIT Rate helps you trigger it.
Sacrificial Bow is another option. After the Skill damages an opponent, it has a 40% chance to end its own cooldown, once every 30 seconds. The Stringless is worth considering for damage because it increases both Skill and Burst damage by 24%.
Leveling priority
A suggested talent order is Trump-Card Kitty, then Floral Brush, then Supplicant’s Bowmanship (NA). The Burst hits across its zone, while the Skill also supplies damage through the ring and Sprout. Normal Attacks are less important if Collei spends little time on-field.
For ascension, collect Mora, Rukkhashava Mushrooms, Nagadus Emerald Sliver, Nagadus Emerald Fragment, Nagadus Emerald Chunk, Nagadus Emerald Gemstone and Majestic Hooked Beak. You also need Firm Arrowhead, Sharp Arrowhead and Weathered Arrowhead.
Talent upgrades use Mora, the same three Arrowhead materials, Teachings of Praxis, Guide to Praxis, Philosophies of Praxis, Tears of the Calamitous God and Crown of Insight.
Constellations worth it
Through Hill and Copse is the most useful upgrade to look at. Once Floral Sidewinder is unlocked, the returning ring grants Sprout without needing a reaction first. A listed party reaction between casting the Skill and the end of Sprout extends it by 3 seconds, once per Sprout.
Gift of the Woods gives nearby characters other than Collei 60 Elemental Mastery for 12 seconds when she uses her Burst. Forest of Falling Arrows adds a miniature Cuilein-Anbar when the ring hits, dealing Dendro damage equal to 200% of Collei’s ATK once per Skill.
Deepwood Patrol gives Collei 20% Energy Recharge while she is in the party but off-field. Scent of Summer and All Embers add three levels to the Skill and Burst respectively. For a support build, those talent-level upgrades are lower priorities than C2 and C4.
Teams
Pair Collei with characters who can provide Electro, Hydro or Pyro for Dendro reactions. Those reactions can activate Sprout and extend the doll’s zone, so the rest of the team has a reason to keep attacking after Collei switches out.
Fischl is an off-field Electro option, while Kuki Shinobu adds Electro and healing. With Hydro, Xingqiu can contribute from off-field, and Sangonomiya Kokomi is a healer. These roles give Collei room to use her abilities and return to the bench.
Thoma is a Pyro option with a shield and off-field presence if you want a Burgeon team. A second Dendro character such as Tighnari is worth considering when the team wants more Dendro damage. Collei can hold Deepwood Memories to reduce enemies’ Dendro RES for that teammate.
Common mistakes
Don’t wait until the ring has returned to start the reaction needed for Floral Sidewinder. Before C2, the reaction has to happen before that return to grant Sprout.
Don’t assume a reaction anywhere on the field extends the Burst zone. The character triggering it must be inside the zone. Keep an eye on its position when switching to your teammate.
Don’t build only for damage if you struggle to use the Burst. Energy Recharge is the first substat to look for in the suggested build. With Favonius Warbow, remember that its particle effect needs a CRIT Hit.
Don’t expect two Sprout effects to run together: triggering another during the initial duration removes the first. Also, the ATK bonus from multiple Noblesse Oblige sets cannot stack.
